Wobenzym N

Wobenzym N is the only systemic enzyme formula backed by decades of clinical research and customer satisfaction to provide clinically demonstrated benefits for joint health.

Systemic enzymes exert their beneficial effects at a cellular level replenishing the declining reservoir of naturally occurring enzymes in cells. These enzymes belong are called proteases which break down other proteins; they may be seen as a pair of molecular scissors that cut and prune.

Systemic enzymes effectively reduce the production of pro-inflammatory cytokines helping to reduce local pain and regional swelling and gradually improve joint function. By reducing the amounts of pro-inflammatory immune complexes in the body, systemic enzymes empower the body to heal itself.

In a study from 2002 patients taking Wobenzym® had a significant decrease in the levels of both anti-TPO and anti-TG antibodies. They also had improvement in symptoms, and a decrease of cholesterol and triglycerides levels. Furthermore, the dosage of levothyroxine could be lowered after three months of treatment, and in some cases, it could be discontinued. With continuous Wobenzym® treatment improved clinical and laboratory parameters were maintained.
