The results of this blood test indicate that your Vitamin D levels are not optimal.

There are different categories to assess Vitamin D levels:

< 25 nmol/L: deficient – you should have a high dose of vitamin D: 50,000 IU weekly for 6 weeks – we will send you a prescription.

25-49 nmol/L: inadequate – you should take a Vitamin D supplement, 2,000 IU per day. You can order this HERE

50-125 nmol/L: below standard – – you should take a Vitamin D supplement, 1,000 IU per day. You can order this HERE

125-225 nmol/L: optimal level

> 225 nmol/L: reduce your Vitamin D intake
